The 'Logan Education Round Table' Network Group

In May 2021, ENABLE and Logan City Council's City Transformation Program brought together many organisations under a collaborative network known as the Logan Education Round Table.

This leadership group of school principals, Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, Logan City Council, TAFE Queensland, Griffith University, Workforce Australia and industry employers all work together to make it easier for students to find their meaningful pathway into training or employment.

The Logan Education Round Table organised Bus Tours for school children to visit local businesses and ended the year with the Bridge to Business employer expo event at Beenleigh State High School in November 2022. This involved 16 high schools, 50 local businesses and over 300 students.

'I'm really grateful for this event as it has given me the courage to connect with employers that I wouldn't normally consider.' Student, Beenleigh State High School

The success of the ENABLE INNOV8 Logan Network is further evidenced by our students and teachers having the opportunity to participate in various events from Young Change Agent Pitch Nights, Chief Entrepreneur visit to Logan, and the Young Entrepreneurs Summit, and it is clear that there is a strong appetite for future collaborations.
